Oregon State University Photos

OSU just updated there website and there is a lot of my photos on it. They have a slideshow you can watch with photos (it is in the upper right hand corner of the site) My photos are #'s 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, and 10. I love taking photos like these, it is one of the things I miss about working at a newspaper.

Corvallis family session

I photographed the Schreiber this month. I always like to shoot as many combinations of the family as possible, and two of my favorites from this session were these two of each of the parents holding their daughter. Studio Headshots

Oregon State University professor Rick Settersten need head shots for his new book comming out and his website. We shot some in the studio and outside around the studio. Heart to Heart

Soft Star Shoes

Softstar Shoes is a small shoe company in Corvallis that handcrafts shoes for kids and adults. They have come out with new running shoes and asked me to photograph them in the studio and people using them. You can see more of the photos on their blog, and even vote for what to name them. You can also read an interesting story about how they tested the prototypes.

Thank you Al Reser

I photographed the Oregon State Alumni Association Orange and Black dinner last Saturday in Portland. This was the event that Al Reser was honored as the E.B. Lemon Distinguished Alumni Award.

Al died earlier this week.

I did not know him well but had met and photographed him many times over the last 10 years.

The first was after he donated the 10 million to OSU for the naming rights to Reser Stadium. The last was earlier this year at the groundbreaking for the Linus Pauling Institute, which he and his family donated 10.65 million to.

He has done great things for Oregon State University, the school I love, and I wish I would of thanked him earlier.
