I want to do this

I would like to help a family with photos they can have or give for Christmas. It would be great if we could get some new clothes for kids and mom and dad etc. Let me know if you can help or put me in contact with someone or a family that would enjoy this.

  

Senior Sara

When I am working my girls often come in to the office to see what I am doing. Today when I was doing these photos, my youngest asked if her name was Sara? I looked at her and said "yes how do you know her" She replied "she has red hair of course her name is Sara" It's true every red head we know and are close to is named Sara. Aunt Sarah, Babysitter Sarah and senior Sara

Melanie's photos

I photographed Melanie's sister Elizabeth two years ago, her sister Allison's wedding earlier this year, and Melanie last week. She is the youngest, so no more Senior photos for them.

Something different

Often times when I am shooting Senior Photos people get in the background. We just wait until the get out of the photo and I usually say something about "How we wanted them in the photo" or If makes a better photo with them in it" Yesterday while shooting a couple and there dog walked up behind and I just thought it looked cool so I snapped off a few frames.  I like this photo. Melanie if you see this don't worry I will put some regular ones of you up soon but I just wanted to share this. 

Two Seniors

We have had a couple of boys in a row Andrew (top) and Josh (below) were in last week. If you are a Senior we still have openings left to photograph you give the studio a call to schedule an appointment. 

Listen up page designers

When I worked at newspapers, photographers always railed about running photos bigger. No matter what the photo was or looked like we wanted them to run big. Page designers always pretended to listen to us but never did. Finally someone listened. Samaritan Health (one of my best and favorite clients) just put up some new billboards around the area with my photos. this one is on Hwy 34 between Corvallis and Tangent we saw two others this weekend on our trip to the Coast, but the family would not let me stop and get photos.

Senior Morgan

We had a great time with Morgan last week, she was a natural in front of the camera which makes my job easy. 

Facebook Page

I did it I made a Facebook Fan page for my business I did not want to but want to try it to see if it works. right now it just has high school seniors on it, I will be adding weddings soon. If you are a High School senior we have photographed this year and want a photo for your Facebook page let me know and I will email you a copy.

Twins

I Photographed twins Kyle and Ryan last week. Twins are always fun and challenging because I want them to be different but still similar in style. These two were great to work with and we were very happy how there photos turned out

Senior Alex

Alex wanted some water in one of her photos so we found this dock at a local park, it was one of the hot days last week and there were lots of people around watching us but Alex was great even when I made her crawl out on some rocks in to the water.

Senior Amber

We are right in the middle of senior season so. We photographed Amber a week or so ago, here are two she ordered.

Wedding Brian and Melinda

The kids are away today at a friends house so I got a chance to work on yesterday's wedding a day early. Melinda and Brian live in Corvallis and were married at King Estates outside of Eugene. Great wedding with great light at a great place for weddings. You can see the slideshow by clicking here

We are in the middle of our busy senior season, but we still appointments open for August. Give the studio a call if you want to book a session, or if you know in kids in the class of 2010 let them know.
